We didn't want to let Summer go without taking the kids on a one day trip to the beach. Extreme times call for extreme measures, so we escaped to a state park rather than our usual beach. It was a great, secluded place and of course it was an exciting day for the kids and for us running after them. Basically we did not sit for one moment on the beach chairs. They loved playing in the sand and even more than that running back and forth towards the ocean waves. Life through the eyes of the kids is so carefree and sometimes is good to join them even just for a few hours, to be present in the moment and forget about everything else.
