The official picnic season has started with Caroline’s birthday celebration at Nemours Estate two weekends ago. We are finally able again to revisit this beautiful garden, after one year break but motivated to have more visits from now on.

Caroline's 3rd birthday theme was something that she really loves right now:”butterflies” and of course flowers, because you can’t separate these two. Edible butterflies on top of the mini cake and cupcakes, her own floral butterfly wings along with a matching dolly were the main pieces I started planning this garden picnic. We had a relaxing couple of hours enjoying ourselves, eating sweets and pretend playing “butterflies” until Caroline was exhausted and wanted to go home. This past year my sweet little girl has grown enough to know pretend playing, to show you love with lots of hugs and sweet genuine love words, recognizing places and an endless joy for discovering and playing with insects and animals. I look forward to this next year chapter and many more to come, always by her side and ready to capture new moments like these.
