The 2020 favorite outfits recap is here! Year after year I do this kind of post highlighting my most loved looks, and there are plenty outfits that I will wear again. I loved being in the middle of nature season after season with just a few escapes in the city (starting from march). I look forward to see what this year will offer us.
As always, we can only hope that this new year is better, not just for me but for everyone. I am also grateful for all the good that happened (yes, there are great things that happened too), and grateful for you and your support for another year!

We started to go on trails lately for a change, and we can’t get enough of them! Kids love it too! So, one day we tried a new one, and the next day we came back to take photos, because these places are so quiet and so spectacular.Look at this sea of pink- purple flowers!!! This happened on Bogdan's birthday when we spent a couple of hours with the kids, surrounded by the sound of birds singing.

Most likely, you will see more of me in these kind of locations and less in the city, especially during these times of socially distancing.

Print on print on print on print - all animal prints because the more the better! A bold mix in this shirt and skirt set, pairing animal print in the classic brown-black color with animal print in red-white and black colors. Definitely not a shy combination, but a powerful one. The feminine silhouette is still here so that adds softness to this entire look. For sure, that's one thing that will never change in my style- all things ladylike.

Another family tradition during this time of the year is visiting NY and in particular, we go to see everything related to the Holidays, Christmas tree, drinking hot chocolate and a small session of shopping...

Checks or Plaid are never out of style, it is a classic pattern. In today's post, I have not one but two plaid patterns (small and big) in a black, white, red color combination. As you can see this bag makes an appearance again since it goes so well with everything.
Bold red lips are always a great finishing touch and give a vivid bust to any look. Voila!

From time to time, I do monochromatic looks and today's outfit is one of the occasions when a simple black dress and a straw bag & hat are my choices for a sunny Summer day in the city. This dress is an old one but still a classic one and definitely a keeper. Right now I am looking to find something similar and I think I found a lovely option Here I just wish it would come in more colors or at least in white as well. A simple Black, White and Navy look with a touch of red is one of the latest outfits I wore in Philadelphia. As always, if I don't wear a bold color, you will find me wearing some prints. In today's post, this jacket from Margaret Oleary delivers the stripes that add a bit of fun to this monochrome look. Voila!

It seems that I can't also stay away from turtlenecks sweaters, this one is from Margaret Oleary and I had to try another color combination: Grey - White and Yellow.

We have to agree that grey in combination with any color you may like, works perfectly. Grey, same as camel or black it will give your look a classic touch.

A New York trip around Christmas time is mandatory (another tradition in our family for more than 10 years). Now with Noah and second baby on the way we know that we don't want to stop here. NY is magical as always! Even if it is cold (and it was) all the lights, the music on the streets and shops, all the window decorations and the tempting and well needed hot chocolate cups makes you forgot (at least for a couple of hours) about the cold. The City is totally transformed and you can't think of something else. Pure Joy!

A well-deserved getaway has happened last week when we went for a few days to the newly opened Lokal A-frame Cabin in Dorchester NJ. Located in the middle of nowhere, this is all you need to enjoy some relaxing time with friends and family away from the city and still have all the comfort of home.

Once again Stay Lokal owners did a wonderful job with this second location and has created the perfect, comfortable "home away from home" place to relax. The mix of modern details and rustic touches is the perfect combination of a cabin these days. It definitely makes us want to come back soon to experience more peaceful moments ...
