As soon as we pulled into Rockport, Massachusetts, I felt that familiar little wave of excitement, the kind you only get when you’re somewhere you truly love.

For our first few hours in town, I kept it simple and fun with a red and white striped set, a matching shirt, and shorts. It just felt right for the vibe: a little nautical, a little playful, and super comfy after the ride in. I didn’t plan it to match the town’s charm so perfectly, but it did. There’s something about stripes by the sea that works. I also added a few charms to match the mood,  small details, but they made me smile.

Our first stop? The red shack, always! It’s the first place we go every time we’re here,  kind of a tradition without even meaning it to be. Standing in front of it makes me feel like I’ve officially arrived. It’s peaceful, familiar, and just so Rockport. I love that it never really changes... though this time, it had been renovated a bit, and honestly, it looks better than ever.

Surrounding the shack were the usual colorful boats, bobbing gently in the harbor, bold blues, sunny yellows, deep greens. Together, they made the whole scene feel like a painting come to life. It’s one of those details that makes Rockport feel like a storybook town, where every corner has its charm.

Just wanted to share a little glimpse of the first look and the first moment that kicked off our trip. More soon.
