Every time we visit Massachusetts, there’s one place we always find ourselves returning to: the beautiful Crane Estate.

Set along the coast of Ipswich, the Crane Estate has the most magical combination of landscapes. On one side, you have lush gardens filled with beautiful flowers and greenery, and just beyond them, the ocean stretches toward the horizon. It’s that beautiful contrast between the gardens and the sea that makes this place feel so unique, and one of the reasons we love coming back.

We spent the day wandering through the gardens, taking in the flowers, enjoying the views, and simply slowing down. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t need much of an itinerary. You can just walk, explore, take photos, and enjoy the beauty around you.

For the occasion, I kept my outfit simple and comfortable. I wore a floral, flowy maxi dress paired with a wicker bag and flat sandals. It felt perfect for a warm summer day: easy, feminine, and comfortable enough for walking around the estate.

I will say that whether it’s the gardens in full bloom, the ocean breeze, or simply the feeling of being surrounded by so much beauty, the Crane Estate always leaves us wanting to come back.

And I’m sure this won’t be our last visit. Some places become part of your favorite memories, and for us, the Crane Estate is definitely one of those places.
