Sometimes, the best moments - and outfits - never make it to the blog. This cozy look from last year sat quietly in my drafts, but as the scenery now mirrors that same golden mood, I thought it was the perfect time to finally share it.

It was one of those golden November afternoons when the backyard turned into a living painting. I reached for my white skinny jeans,  a crisp, clean base that brightened up the deeper tones of fall. I love how white denim feels unexpected in the cooler months; it keeps the look fresh and timeless. My camel riding boots grounded the outfit perfectly, adding a touch of classic equestrian charm. On top, I wore a cotton floral sweater, soft and slightly oversized, with a pattern that reminded me of the bittersweet vines climbing the fence in the backyard. I layered on my Bittersweet Collars cotton floral cape collar,  a favorite piece that ties the whole look together.

And to finish it off, a white wool hat - the perfect contrast against the autumn backdrop, adding a hint of polish and just a touch of drama (as I always love in the fall).

This look wasn’t planned or styled for anything special. It was just me, soaking up the season, finding inspiration in nature’s palette. Maybe that’s why it feels so right to finally share it now — a reminder that style doesn’t have to be new to feel fresh.
