Today's post is an ode to romantic opulence. The main piece that got me started with this idea is, of course, this Dainty Jewell's jacquard green- peach dress. And because I didn't want to create a complete formal look I paired it with pointed flats and of course a straw bag - a funny straw bag. You probably already know that I like combining high and low pieces, vintage with modern and casual with elegant. This look is the best example of all these mentioned and I must say the flowers are another great accessory that accentuates the opulence ...

Oh this very romantic and opulent! I love your photography and use of vibrant, gorgeous colors to convey fashion, style and every day life. Your blog really inspires me! Also – I’m grateful for discovering Toino Abel basket bags from you! They are a delight!

I love that “damassé” fabric with that “jacquard” pattern (sorry, don’t know the exact words in English).
I was asking myself why you did not go on with sewing ? I know you are very good at it, and you are so creative, you could make so unique dresses that look like those vintage that you are so fond of ?
