I'm happy to share with you all, my newest project where I will combine Art & Fashion in my outfits. I teamed up with Lulu's.com who was so kind and let me chose 4 looks from their online site, each one representing one artistic current. This month, you will see 4 outfits, one outfit each week. The most inspirational artistic currents for me at this moment are: Art Deco, Impressionism, Fauvism and Baroque here presented today.
Baroque is probably one of the most featured artistic current these days in fashion. Dolce & Gabbana, Aquilano Rimondi, Marchesa and Ralph Lauren are just a few that translate this extravagantly ornate style into the fashion. Opulent ornaments mostly in black and gold, rich and delicate materials as brocard's, lace or silk are hard to resist when you want to obtain a dramatic look. You don't have to go all the way baroque, just take the elements that you like the most and incorporate them in your every day look or just add accessories instead of clothes.
Here is my interpretation of Baroque style and I will like to hear your opinion !

I’m completely in love with this look – that dress is just perfection! And I love your coat too, was going to ask where you got it from but it’s vintage – what an amazing find!

I like the approach of taking inspiration from art and I really looking forward the Art Deco one because it is one of my favourite styles. You chose a stunning cocktail dress and it gives such a great contrast with the monochrome of the coat and accessories!
